In order to celebrate the 70th birthday of themotherland of the motherland, South China Agricultural Universitywent to Guangxi Donglan Education Supporting Agriculture ResearchGroup in Donglan County, Guangxi Red Revolution County. Guangxi Donglan County is a famous old revolutionary base in the country, thebirthplace of the Guangxi peasant movement, the heartland of theYoujiang Revolutionary Base, and the source of Deng Xiaoping, ZhangYunyi, and Wei Baqun ’s leadership of the Youjiang revolutionarystruggle and the Baise uprising.

Donglan has a red story. The hot blood of the revolutionary martyrs stainedthe land. In order to inherit the revolutionary spirit, the red storyneeds to be praised, and the story of the revolutionary veteransneeds to be reviewed.

Under the guidance of the instructor, we came to the home of theanti-Japanese veteran Wei Zhongcheng. He was originally a soldier ofthe 188th Division of the 46th Army of the National RevolutionaryArmy, and later joined the New Fourth Army. He participated in thefamous battle of Meng Lianggu, advanced into Dabie Mountain,liberated Shanxi Taiyuan, the bandits of the East of Sichuan and theNorth, and the North Korea and the North Korea.
