On the afternoon of November 9th, the Collegeof Humanities and Law held the "Academic Career Planning"Law Alumni Salon in Room 115, Building 7. Xiao Hua, deputy secretaryof the Party Committee of the College, Jiang Baoguo, dean of the lawdepartment, Deng Dingyong, deputy dean, Mr. Chen You, alumni, Mr. LinXulin, Ms. Peng Manyun, Mr. Liu Baiqian, and Ms. Hu Guifen attendedthe salon.

First,Mr. Chen You, a 1999 alumnus, spoke. He briefly introduced hispersonal work experience in the court, from the basic level of thecourt to the president of the criminal court. With his hard work andoriginal intention, he climbed to the peak of life. "Duringcollege, it is important to go out, do non-utilitarian things, andmake some intimate friends." At the end of the speech, Mr. ChenYou gave sincere suggestions to the students present.

 Whentalking about his personal career path, Mr. Lin Xulin, a 2001alumnus, said that his two internships in college were an importantdirection for him to choose his personal career. He became aprosecutor inspiringly. After failing many exams, he entered theTianhe District Land and Resources Bureau to work. In 2014, hechanged his life orientation and transferred to a private enterprise.Mr. Lin Xulin admits that he has failed because of his personalchoices and practical efforts.

"Iwant to be a good lady of law!" Ms. Peng Manyun, who has beenengaged in sales for many years after graduation, picked up herinitial intentions in college. After she had a successful career, sheresigned from her high-paying job and prepared for the nationaljudicial examination after receiving support from her family. "Inthe first week, I couldn't read ten pages of books every day, and Iwas very anxious." Recalling the difficult preparation period,Ms. Peng Manyun smiled, "I really had to peel myself a few skinsback then." Kung Fu is not dissatisfied, she finally passed thenational judicial examination with a high score of 412 points, andentered the Guangdong Hebang Law Firm.

AlumniLiu Baiqian, currently the deputy governor of the Agricultural Bankof China Zhujiang Sub-branch, made three suggestions to theclassmates present: One is to always be grateful, to be grateful tothe teachers in the school, and to be grateful for the ability gainedin the study and work; inthe society, be grateful toworkplace,leadership, only with constant gratitude, can the road be smooth.Secondly, we should walk out of the comfort zone and participate insocial practice activities to avoid disconnection from society.Finally, we must persist in learning and constantly temper our ownlearning ability and thinking ability. All the students present werefocused and listening.

After 12 years of practice, she changed from a fledglinglawyer newcomer to the director of the management committee andsenior of Guangdong Law Cheng Huijun Law Firm. Partner, in the nextthree years, she will continue to study abroad and push her career toa new ladder. Ms. Hu Guifen suggested to students: "If you havea plan, let's go!"
