AcademicAffairs Office went to college to investigate undergraduate teaching

Onthe morning of November 13, Zhang Yongliang, director of the academicaffairs department, and a group of 8 people came to our college toinvestigate the undergraduate teaching work. Members of the college'sleading group, heads of departments, representatives of teachers andacademic administrators attended the meeting.

ZhongJijun, deputy dean of teaching, made a special report on theprofessional construction, curriculum construction and practicalteaching of the college, focusing on the construction and highlightsof the legal practice teaching center. Yang Naliang, Dean of thecollege, welcomed the arrival of the academic affairs office, saidthat the college has made some achievements in recent years with thestrong support of the school, but there is still a certain gap fromthe requirements of the school, and proposed the main problemsexisting in the undergraduate teaching of the college. Zhang Hui,Secretary of the Party committee of the college, pointed out that thecollege has a good development prospect and will actively respond tothe requirements of the national new liberal arts construction, focuson the construction of agricultural history research, rural rule oflaw, Putonghua test station and other platforms. On the other hand,the college needs to improve in international exchange, moderneducation technology training and other aspects. There werehigher problems in the law and Chinese departments, hoping to get theUniversity’sattentionand support from the academic affairs office. Director ZhangYongliang answered the questions raised by the college one by one,explained the purpose and direction of the school's professionaladjustment work, stressed that the direction of the construction ofnew liberal arts should serve the National Rural Revitalization,Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Bay area, and said that the academicaffairs office would fully support and cooperate with theconstruction of the Putonghua test station proposed by the college.

Then,the two sides made in-depth discussions and exchanges on thefirst-class professional construction, first-class curriculumconstruction, teaching grass-roots organization construction,practical teaching work and professional adjustment of the college.

Throughthis research meeting, the Academic Affairs Office answered manyquestions about the undergraduate teaching work for the college, sothat the college could better understand the relevant policies suchas training, special fund application, etc., and play a positive rolein the future development of the college.
