Accordingto the instructions of the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee,in order to continuously and effectively implement the centralgovernment's "precision poverty alleviation" strategy inthe new era, and ensure the implementation of the poverty alleviationtask in accordance with the law, we have summarized and refined ourprovince's practical experience from "double arrival" to"precision poverty alleviation" Laws and regulations, earlyplanning of new ideas for poverty alleviation work after 2020,strengthening the standardization and long-term effectiveness ofsubsequent poverty alleviation development, according to the specialentrustment of the Provincial Agriculture and Rural Office and thePoverty Alleviation Office, Professor Wang Quandian of our university’s Rural Law and Social Development Research Center , AssociateResearcher Sun Xiongsong of School Poverty Alleviation Office andothers undertook the revised investigation and drafting of the“Poverty Poverty Alleviation and Development Regulations ofGuangdong Province”, as an important political task throughout theyear, carefully organized and truly stubborn.

Dueto the concerted efforts and cooperation between the research team ofour school and the special team of the Provincial Department ofAgriculture, after solid foundation research and carefulconsideration, the drafting and repair work are progressing smoothly,and we are now in the second round of solicitation of drafts forreview. In order to ensure the seriousness and scientificity of thelegislative revision work and form a mature "Regulations"amendment, in accordance with the requirements of the relevant workof the Provincial Department of Justice, the Provincial PovertyAlleviation Office entrusted the Poverty Alleviation Office of ourschool to organize a draft together with the Rural Law and SocialDevelopment Research Center Expert demonstration meeting before themanuscript is submitted for review.

OnNovember 15, the Legislative Demonstration Meeting was held inConference Room 304, Building 7, College of Grammar and Law. Themeeting invited the Legislative Consultation Expert of the ProvincialPeople's Congress, the former Director of the Provincial LegislativeAffairs Office, Ding Jiaping, the head of the Provincial People'sCongress Legislation Research Base and the chairman of the ProvincialLocal Legislative Research Association, Professor Zhu Xinxin,Professor Zhu Kongwu of the Economic Law Institute of GuangdongUniversity of Finance and Economics, and the Provincial Department ofAgriculture and Rural Peng Bin, a cadre of poverty alleviation in thevillage, Su Zhuhua, the Institute of Agricultural Economics and RuralDevelopment of the Provincial Academy of Agricultural Sciences, andother legal or poverty alleviation experts discussed the amendmentsto the Regulations. The demonstration meeting was chaired by theinvestigator Wang Jinchang of the Provincial Poverty AlleviationOffice. Researcher Lv Jianqiu, Executive Vice President of the NewRural Development Research Institute of our school and director ofthe Poverty Alleviation Office, delivered a speech. Chen Yihe, vicepresident and secretary general of the Society of Rule of LawResearch, Zheng Tingyi, vice president of the college, and Dr. DuJinpei, the Center for Rural Policy Research, were invited toparticipate in the discussion. Professor Wang Quandian, Professor OuRenshan, Associate Researcher Sun Xiongsong and other members of ourresearch team attended the meeting to listen to expert opinions.
