The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Agricultural IntellectualProperty Summit was successfully held

In order to build an agricultural intellectual property platform for theGuangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and promote the greentransformation and upgrading of the agricultural economy in theGuangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, it was jointly guided bySouth China Agricultural University and other units, GuangdongOverseas Chinese Returnees Association and Guangzhou National ModernAgricultural Industry Technology Innovation The Guangdong-HongKong-Macao Greater Bay Area Agricultural Industry IntellectualProperty Summit Forum co-sponsored by the Center and co-organized bythe College of Humanities and Law of South China AgriculturalUniversity was held in the lecture hall of the South ChinaAgricultural University Library on the afternoon of November 6. Thetheme of this forum was "Promoting Agricultural Innovation andSharing Green Opportunities". Many experts and leaders wereinvited to express their opinions. Many entrepreneurs, teachers andstudent representatives of our school participated in this meeting.

At the beginning of the meeting, Huang Binmin, deputy director of theGuangdong Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs,took the stage to deliver a speech. We recognized that the seed industry intellectualproperty provides a legal mechanism for the promotion, applicationand dissemination of intellectual achievements, for the intellectualachievements to be transformed into productive forces, and applied toproduction and construction, resulting in huge economic and socialbenefits.

Next, Professor Chen Riyuan, member of the Standing Committee of theGuangdong Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's PoliticalConsultative Conference, Guangdong Provincial Committee of theDemocratic Progressive Committee, and the College of Horticulture ofSouth China Agricultural University, took the theme of "Seeingthe Demand and Development of Agricultural Technology in theGuangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area from the Perspective ofSupply and Supervision of Vegetable Production in Hong Kong".Six points including the production and supply status of vegetablessupplied to Hong Kong, the production and processing standards ofvegetables supplied to Hong Kong, and quality and safety supervisionwere introduced, which gave us a deeper understanding of agriculturaltechnology in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
