Accordingto the instructions of the provincial leadership and the ProvincialPeople's Congress Agricultural Committee, the Provincial RuralPoverty Alleviation Development Regulations organized by theProvincial Poverty Alleviation Office of the Provincial Department ofAgriculture and Rural Affairs and entrusted by the research team ofthe South China Agricultural University and the Urbanization LawSociety and the New Urbanization Research Center The "Revisions"(hereinafter referred to as "Regulations") has beenprogressing smoothly in its revision research work, and has nowentered the first round of soliciting opinions for revision andpending submission for review.According to the workarrangement, from October 21 to 23, 2019, investigator Wang Jinchangfrom the Provincial Department Poverty Alleviation PlanningDepartment, investigator Xiao Jiayu from the Department ’s Policy,Regulations and Reform Department, and deputy investigator ZhangZhenghong, together with the research team (center) project teamProfessor Wang Quandian, Professor Ou Renshan, Associate ResearcherSun Xiongsong and other delegations went to Zhaoqing City to meetwith the grassroots representatives of relevant parties and held aresearch symposium to focus on the discussion of the revision planand the revision of the design draft.The meeting particularlyinvited Chen Zhanfang, deputy director of the Zhaoqing MunicipalAgriculture and Rural Bureau in charge of poverty alleviation, HuangWeiquan, chief economist and director of the Municipal PovertyAlleviation Office, and Chen Zhen, the first secretary of the villagecadres of the Zhaoqing Municipal Party Committee, and Jiang Jinyu,the Deqing County Poverty Alleviation Office. Focusing on thespecification of the design of each article, combined with the actualwork of poverty alleviation and development in our province, wediscussed the legitimacy, rationality, and implementability of the"Regulations", and reached a consensus on the design of therevised regulations. The results of this seminar laid a goodfoundation for the follow-up argumentation, evaluation and submissionof the revised design of the Regulations.
