Hushan Middle School is a prestigious school renowned in eastern Guangdong.It was founded on the original site of Hushan Official School in 1938under the initiative of General Luo Zhuoying and others. Dapu Middle School was founded in 1904 by Zou Lu, a veteran of theKuomintang and the first principal of Sun Yat-sen University. It isthe earliest middle school in Dapu County.
