View the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge and enhance patrioticself-confidence——Biweekly Study and Trade Union Activities of School of Humanities and Law Held Successfully

In the great moment of the 70th anniversary of the founding of NewChina, in order to enhance the patriotic self-confidence of theteachers and students of the college and deepen the nationalidentity, on the morning of October 11, 2019, representatives ofteachers and student party members of the Party Committee of theCollege of Humanities and Law and the College of Trade UnionOrganization visited Zhuhai . More than forty teachers and studentswent to the sea from Zhuhai Wanchai Pier and watched the HongKong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge up close. They were shocked by thiscentury's super project and took a lively and fresh party class.

The Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, located in the Lingdingyang area ofthe Pearl River estuary in Guangdong Province, China, is the southernsection of the Pearl River Delta Regional Expressway. It is a bridgeand tunnel project connecting Hong Kong, Zhuhai, Guangdong, andMacau, China. The Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge is famous in theworld for its super-large construction scale, construction difficultyof the project, and top-notch construction technology, and was namedone of the "Seven Wonders of the New World" by the British"Guardian". The completion and opening of the HongKong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge marks the transformation of China from amajor bridge country to a bridge power.

Teachers and students visited

During the visit, teachers and students have successively visited the newand old urban areas of Zhuhai and Macao to learn about the historicalknowledge of the two places and realize the rapid development of thenew China. From a short distance, the teachers and students looked atthe small yellowish buildings, which gradually turned into toweringskyscrapers. Feel the profound connotation of this "YuanmengBridge, Concentric Bridge, Self-confidence Bridge, Fuxing Bridge".
