The Election Conference of the Trade Union of the College of Humanities and Law was successfully held

On the occasion of the nation ’s 70th anniversary of the New China,the new trade union meeting of the Faculty of Humanities and Law ofSouth China Agricultural University was successfully held in Room101, Building 7, at 9 am on September 20. Party Secretary Zhang Huiof the School of Humanities and Law, Dean Yang Nailiang, DeputySecretary of the Party Committee Xiao Hua, Vice Dean Zheng Tingyi,Vice Dean Zhong Jijun, Vice Dean He Fangyao, and all faculty andstaff attended the general election. Afte rthe on-site staff counted, the number of people participating in thisgeneral election was in line with the election methods, and thegeneral meeting officially began.

At the meeting, Mr. Lin You, the chairman of the trade union, made areport on the work of the trade union to the conference, andsystematically summarized the work of the trade union; Mr. LiuJuhang, a living committee member, made a report on the income andexpenditure of the union ’s funds, and reported the use of theunion ’s funds to the conference to achieve fairness. Transparent.All the teaching and administrative staff reviewed and approved thework report of the trade union and the report on income andexpenditure.

Secretary Zhang Hui reported to the conference on the list of candidates forthe new trade union committee members, the method of generation andthe list of supervisors and tellers for the conference.

Next, the conference issued ballots to all faculty members and read out thenotes for filling in the ballots. All faculty members filled in thevotes carefully and cast a sacred vote for the candidates of thetrade union members in their hearts. After careful calculation by thescrutineers and the tellers, Secretary Zhang Hui announced thecreation of a new list of trade union members based on the electionresults.

After democratic elections, all teachers and staff democratically electedDeng Dingyuan, Deng Yuan, Fu Xiuhai, He Zetang, Shi Yu, Wang Lin andYang Liu as members of the new trade union committee.

The new members of the trade union will shoulder the heavy trust of allthe faculty and staff, and will devote themselves to their work witha high sense of responsibility and mission in the new year. The newgeneral election conference of the trade union is conducive tofurther advancing the process of managing schools according to lawand running schools democratically, raising the sense of ownership ofteachers and staff, and consolidating team strength, so that all workof the college can be carried out more fairly, justly and openly.
