On the morning of October 25, the general election meeting ofthe teachers representatives of Collegeof Humanitiesand Law was successfully held in Classroom 101, Building No.7. Allteachers of the college attended the meeting, which was hostedby Zhang Hui, secretary of the party committee of the college.

After the laborunionpersonnel counted the number of attendees one by one, and the numberof attendees exceeded the specifiedeffective number, the general election conference officially began.Secretary Zhang Hui first conveyed the school’srequirements and deployment onthe work ofthe college’slaborunion.andteacher representative council election, introduced the workplan of the college'slaborunion and teacher representative council,discussed relatedpreparations for the early stage,and read out the school's reply on the holding of the generalelection.Mr. Fu Xiuhai, chairman of the college laborunion, reported on the plan for the generation of the college'steacher representatives and the method of electing the teacher representatives, which was approved by all the teachers.

Secretary Zhang Hui read out the list of vote counters and scrutineers,accepted the supervision of all teachers, and emphasized the important precautions for filling out the ballots. After the staffissued ballots, the teachers exercised their right to vote, casttheir precious and sacred votes, and elected 33 candidates out of the 38 candidates.

This general meeting always adheres to the principle of fairnessandopenness. After careful calculation by the vote-counters and careful supervision by the scrutineers, 33 teachers including Wang Ying andothers were elected as the new teachers' representatives.

The college strictly implements the systmeof teachers’congress, and actively promotes the participation of teachers inscientific decision-making, democratic management and democratic supervision in the development of thecollege.The successful holding of this electionwill inject new vitality into the teachers’congress of the college and lay a solid foundation for its development.
